Who is Exponent Private Equity?
Founded in 2004, Exponent Private Equity invests in private companies with headquarters in the UK.
What does Exponent Private Equity ("Exponent") do?
Operating from a single office in London and with an investment team of 15, Exponent buys private companies valued between £75 million and £350 million. Equity investments in these companies typically range from £50 million to £125 million.
Exponent will invest in companies with a strong market position that have been historically constrained, but are capable of transformation. Exponent sets ambitious growth plans, but can deliver on these through its ‘hands-on’ approach and use of experienced industry advisers on the boards.

Why do we back Exponent?
"Exponent has a strong and complementary team which has evolved over the years we have invested with them. We also like that they have settled in a niche within the UK private equity market" – Merrick McKay, abrdn.
